Before removing the contact lenses from the package, make sure that the contact lens is completely immersed in the solution. Do not use a contact lens if it is not in the original package or if it has expired.    <\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">One pair of contact lenses must not be used by two people!<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Inserting contact lenses:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. Make sure the contact lens is oriented correctly. Place the contact lens on your index finger. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Inserting contact lenses\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.livision-optika.com\/edukativni-centar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/667577472179754.jpg\" align=\"none\"><\/p>\n<p>2. Hold the lower eyelid with the middle finger of the same hand, and hold the upper eyelid with the index and middle fingers of the other hand. Put the lens in the eye. Look down, slowly release the upper eyelid and close your eyes for 2 seconds. Repeat the process for the other eye.   <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Inserting contact lenses\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.livision-optika.com\/edukativni-centar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/863390214207064.jpg\" align=\"none\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Removing contact lenses:<\/span><br \/> Look up and hold the lower eyelid with the middle finger of one hand. Using your index finger, gently place the contact lens on the sclera, gently pinch and lift it off the eye with the cheekbones of your thumb and index finger, not your fingernails, as this may damage the contact lens or scratch the cornea.   <br \/>Repeat the process for the other eye.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Removing contact lenses\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.livision-optika.com\/edukativni-centar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/205777038036662.jpg\" align=\"none\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Centering contact lenses:<\/span><br \/> Occasionally, a contact lens in exceptional situations can move from the center of the eye to the sclera of your eye. To &#8220;center&#8221; the contact lens, do one of the following:<br \/> Close the eye and gently massage the contact lens to the center of the eye.<br \/> With your eyes open, use your eyelid to gently slide the contact lens into place using your finger as a guide. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"100%\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SpUpWAjbKWU\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Disinfection, cleaning, preservation<\/span><br \/> Clean and disinfect contact lenses strictly following the instructions on the care solution package.<br \/> Before removing the contact lenses, put the fresh solution in the storage container.<br \/> After removing the contact lenses, place them in the palm of your hand and gently rub them with a few drops of fresh solution. Before placing in the storage container, rinse the contact lenses with a lens care solution to remove deposits and place them in the storage box. Rubbing and rinsing contact lenses can remove a significant amount of bacteria and microbes from their surface.  <br \/><br style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Why is it important to store contact lenses in solution?<\/span><br \/>The care solution in which you put the contact lenses contains a mild but effective dose of disinfectant. Keeping the contact lenses in the solution helps to remove the remaining bacteria and protein deposits from the contact lenses, so that they are clean when they are put on the eyes. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Important!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always clean and disinfect your contact lenses as directed, after each contact lens removal.<\/li>\n<li>If redness or eye irritation occurs, remove the contact lenses and seek the advice of a contact specialist (ophthalmologist or optometrist).<\/li>\n<li>Avoid contaminating contact lenses with cosmetics, sprays or being in a vaporous environment.<\/li>\n<li>Replace a damaged, scratched or soiled contact lens immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid long nails. Scratches on the cornea are prone to infection. <\/li>\n<li>Keep contact lenses out of the reach of children<\/li>\n<li>When playing water sports, always protect your contact lenses with appropriate sports glasses.<\/li>\n<li>Do not wear contact lenses if you are not feeling well, for example if you have a cold or a virus.<\/li>\n<li>Put in contact lenses before applying makeup. Remove contact lenses before removing makeup.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Warnings:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not sleep with contact lenses, unless your contact specialist (ophthalmologist or optometrist) has advised you to do so.<\/li>\n<li>Do not wear contact lenses for longer than the time recommended by your contact specialist (optometrist, ophthalmologist).<\/li>\n<li>Replace contact lenses with a new pair within the period recommended by your contact specialist (ophthalmologist or optometrist).<\/li>\n<li>Do not drip eye medication onto contact lenses, unless recommended by an ophthalmologist.<\/li>\n<li>Do not wet contact lenses with saliva.<\/li>\n<li>Do not rinse the contact lenses or the contact lens container with tap water or other liquids, but only with contact lens care solution. Water is a carrier of bacteria and other microorganisms that can cause serious eye infections. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Do a self-examination of your eyes every day<\/span><br \/> Ask yourself the following questions when wearing contact lenses:<br \/> Do my eyes feel good?<br \/> Do my eyes look good?<br \/> Can my eyes see well?<br \/> If any answer is negative, take out the contact lens and seek the advice of your contact specialist (ophthalmologist-optometrist).<\/p>\n<p>Author:<br \/> bc.
